Botswana IFSC will hold the 8th annual Career Fair on the 9th September 2011 at Fairgrounds Boipuso
28-06-2011

About 50 exhibitors and 1000 graduates are expected to take part at this year’s fair as compared t about 600 graduates in 2010. This will bear testimony to the demand and growth of the career fair. It will also provide a broad pool of talent for companies in various sectors to interact with Batswana students, graduates and young professionals.

The Botswana IFSC Career Fair has been the stepping stone for many young people into their first job through direct contact with company executives and through the associated Internship Program.

Graduate registration will be done at www.careerfairbotswana.com from the 1st of June to the 21st August 2011; while company registration will commence from the 1st of June to the 19th of August 2011. A careful screening exercise will ensure that only high breed graduates receive an invitation to the Career Fair.

The Career fair forms part of the Botswana IFSC Skills Readiness Initiative which was borne of the recognition that Botswana has an immediate opportunity to leverage its human resources to establish a competitive advantage in cross-border financial and ICT services in Sub Saharan Africa. The purpose of the Skills Readiness Initiative is to expose graduates and young professionals to career opportunities in the Financial Services and ICT sectors.
